Reding Instruments was founded in 1975 as a small instrument service company, targeting the production and refining sectors of the oil and gas industry. Founded by Harry Reding, the company focused on exceptional people, service, and products to meet the demands of an ever-growing marketplace. Current owners Kari and Mike Reding continue to run the company based on Harry’s founding principles.
In 1984, Reding Instruments responded to the demand for safe and reliable heating systems by becoming the Canadian distributor of Bruest Catalytic Heaters. Reding Instruments combined the products with their own exceptional service standards to create the most dependable heaters available today.
As the world's need for measurement of commodities heightened, Reding Instruments also expanded its calibration services. Government regulations, computerization, and technological advances continually influenced the need for better measurement standards, and thus, calibration capabilities. Reding Instruments’ attention to precise and reliable calibration quickly positioned the company as a leader in this field, and today they serve a variety of industries including healthcare and pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, manufacturing, and maintenance.
