Alberta’s Choice for Comprehensive Calibration Services with Precision
Reding Instruments provides precision calibration services in the disciplines of:
Temperature
At Reding Instruments, our equipment capabilities allow us to measure temperatures of -180ºC to 1200ºC and generate temperatures of -70°C to 1200°C. We provide expert service on thermocouple and RTD temperature indicators, recorders, controllers, sensors, calibrators and test equipment.
Example: Confirming the accuracy of temperature monitors on a jet turbine test cell.
Pressure
Reding Instruments’ pressure equipment provides the capability to apply and measure pressures from Vacuum to 30,000 PSI for all types of instrumentation and test equipment.
Example: Testing of inspector's gauges, verification of a meter manufacturer's hydraulic and pneumatic deadweight testers.
Electrical Measurements
Measurement and generation of various standard electrical units such as amps, voltage, ohms, and resistance for use in testing, verification, and calibration of instruments and process controls.
Example: verifying the precise voltage of such instruments as multimeters, high potential testers, insulation testers, process calibrators, and multifunction calibrators.
Relative Humidity
Humidity monitoring and control is critical in many human comfort, storage and production facilities. Reding Instruments’ equipment is able to generate humidity through the range of 5%RH to 95%RH, with the additional capability of varying temperature over a wide range.
Example: on-site calibration of humidity sensors found in the drying tunnels of a pharmaceutical manufacturer.
Dimension
Reding Instruments’ dimension calibration equipment is capable of calibrating dimension graduations as small as .00001".
Example: verifying a machine shop's micrometers, bore gauges, dial, and test indicators and specialized jigs.
Torque
Precision torque standards from low inch pounds to 250 foot pounds allow Reding Instruments to calibrate and repair a variety of torque wrenches, tools and instruments.
Example: verify calibration of a soft drink manufacturer's bottle cap torque testers.
Mass
With individual mass standards as small as .01 gram and totals to 68 kilograms, Reding Instruments is able to verify and calibrate a variety of scales and weight based instruments.
Example: using mass, verify accuracy of a precision scale used in a testing laboratory.
Speed
Reding Instruments’ speed calibration capabilities allow for measuring rotational speed in ranges of 2.5 to 20,000 RPM or 5 to 100,000 RPM, or linear surface speeds of .84 to 3,900 F/M.
Example: verifying the mixing speed of a food processor in a major food manufacturing facility.
